About HIF1STEM
HIF1STEM is a specialized olive leaf extract developed to support stem cell vitalization by increasing levels of Hypoxia-Inducible Factor 1 (HIF-1). Now available in North America from UniChem, it is derived from a unique variety of olive leaf and backed by more than a decade of research.
What is HIF-1?
HIF-1 is a biologically active protein recognized in the 2019 Nobel Prize-winning research on how cells sense and adapt to oxygen availability. Elevated HIF-1 levels are associated with promoting stem cell proliferation and differentiation, particularly under hypoxic conditions. HIF1STEM has been shown to increase HIF-1 and support stem cell activity even in non-hypoxic environments.

Origin & Development
HIF1STEM was developed based on research conducted under the SATREPS program, a collaborative project involving the University of Tsukuba and international research organizations.
A unique olive variety with stem cell-vitalizing properties was identified and advanced through partnership between the Isoda Laboratory at the University of Tsukuba and Nutrition Act. HIF1STEM offers formulators a science-backed botanical ingredient for anti-aging, beauty-from-within, and cellular health applications.
